There are no words to describe how pleased and happy I am with this office! From day 1 they treated me like family! We were in an awful accident where an unisured driver pulled out in front of us. We t-boned him going 65 and my femur was shattered at the knee. My children both sustained injuries as well. I could not walk or fuction enough to go home, let alone go to their office, so they came to the rehab facility I was in to give me a consulation.. Hunter face timed me from his anniversary trip in europe for this meeting. Talk about dedication! I had a very hard case with difficult out of state insurance providers that were dead set on taking every penny of any settlement I might receive. Which is quite disheartening when I was the one injured and fired from my job due to recovery time and am still recovering after a year. The insurance companies became very predatory in trying to take everything from me. Hunter and Lillian and team did everything they could to negotiate the amounts down. When they realized that unum, yes the company that gets paid to pay disability payment for events like this, wanted every penny they paid in short term disability back just because I received a settlement from the auto insurance, they lowered their own rates just to ensure i came out with something to offset the pain and stress the accident caused me! They are compassionate and very caring! I will recommend them to anyone who can use this team! I cannot express how well they treated me during this life altering event!

I personally worked with Hunter Garnett on a wreck I had back in January 2022. Hunter made sure I didnt have to deal with much regarding insurance claims and personal injuries. He asked what I wanted back from my losses and got me the best deal possible. I was able to even avoid going to court and settled outside. Hunter too made sure to check in with me oh a regular basis! I was involved in an accident with a commercial vehicle in September of 2023, which was deemed to be caused by the CDL driver almost immediately. The accident caused $13k of property damage to my car and came very close to totaling it due to the cost of repairs! Thankfully, no one was injured! The third-party company that handled the claim for the trucking and insurance company was very shady and unprofessional! I could go on all day about how stressful the situation was!

After several months, I spoke with the third party handling the claim about the possibility of a diminished value claim. I was advised I would need to purchase a damage estimate and submit it to them. I got the estimate; I attempted to submit the lost value claim to the third-party insurance representative with the trucking company, and I was advised I was owed nothing. It is well known that the value decreases when a car requires significant repairs after a collision, so I knew this was wrong! I knew I had to find an attorney.

I called at least four local attorneys in the Huntsville-Decatur area before I called Hunter's office. The first three said it basically wasn't worth their time, that with a 33% attorney fee, it was too small to take. I called a man in Birmingham who told me to call Garnett Patterson. Hunter without hesitation agreed to help me! He barely made anything taking this case; the monetary value was small. Hunter accepted my case because it was the right thing to do! I’ve also seen the things Hunter is doing for the Hispanic community, which without saying are a great act of selflessness! Hunter took it upon himself to help a fundraiser I had undertaken to pay for a memorial of a co-worker as well! I’ve even seen him help ppl add coolant to their cars outside the front of his office! He’s really one of a kind and a very genuine and down to earth guy!! If we had more people like Hunter, whose actions are driven by a genuine desire to help without expectation of a reward, this world would be a much better place!

It is with great pleasure and without hesitation to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding legal representation I received from Mr. H. Garnett. To begin with, I contacted multiple lawyers in the local area and as far as Birmingham, seeking legal services regarding a vehicle accident that my daughter (MH) was involved in when she was hit by another driver on County Line RD. When other lawyers discovered that there were no physical injury claims, they would be apologetic and tell me they couldn’t help, and they would refer me to another lawyer, then another and another. Garnett was THE ONLY lawyer to personally call me after normal working hours to discuss the situation with myself and my husband. Mr. Garnett took a personal interest in the case due to the situation and worked diligently to achieve the best possible outcome. Mr. Garnett and his staff kept me, and my husband informed during the entire process and addressed any concerns promptly, even when he was on vacation!
