Jules Labriel

Legal Assistant and Case Manager | Garnett Patterson Injury Lawyers

Native of Guatemala

Jules Labriel helps support cases through both pre-litigation and litigation, keeping them organized and moving forward, and has recently begun managing his own cases as a case manager. From a client’s point of view, Jules is the person handling the work that needs to be done behind the scenes so the case keeps progressing.

BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION

Originally from Guatemala, Jules first met Hunter Garnett in 2023 while interpreting for a mission team as a high-school student. Already interested in law, he jumped at the chance to work with Hunter and learn the field firsthand. He graduated at the top of his class from Colegio J.E.T. in 2025 and is now a first-year law student at Universidad Panamericana.

WORKING WITH JULES

Jules wants nervous, first-time clients to know they do not need to understand the legal process or have everything figured out when they come to the firm. His team is there to help clients understand what is happening and know what to expect as their case moves forward. What has stuck with him most is how appreciative clients are when they feel heard, a reminder that even the small things make a difference for someone going through a difficult time.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

For several years Jules has volunteered with a ministry in Guatemala, serving primarily as an interpreter for medical clinics, pastors, and visiting mission teams, helping bridge the language gap and build relationships across cultures. He also plays cello on his church’s worship team and is the lead cellist in an orchestra. In his free time he enjoys reading, TV shows, and video games. He is fluent in Spanish and English.

People are often surprised to learn how warm and easygoing Jules is. He admits his first impression can come across as serious, but those who get to know him quickly discover his kindness.
