MaKinzie Dvorak keeps everything at Garnett Patterson Injury Lawyers running. As Chief of Staff and Operations, she is the firm’s operational backbone, overseeing the systems, teams, and internal processes that keep the office moving and leading the implementation of the new systems that let the firm serve clients better. Her role spans Marketing, Intake, Pre-Litigation, Litigation, Finance, and Operations, so attorneys and staff can stay focused on delivering strong results for clients.

BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION

Originally from South Dakota, MaKinzie came to Huntsville to be close to family, and to get away from the cold. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and has years of experience running various family businesses and listening in on business meetings during family gatherings since she comes from a family of business owners.

HOW SHE WORKS

MaKinzie takes a hands-on, solutions-driven approach to firm management. From building compliant financial and HR systems to improving workflows, documentation, and technology integrations, she is focused on creating structure, clarity, and scalability across the firm. If there is an opportunity to improve how something works, she is likely already working on it.

While clients will rarely deal with MaKinzie directly, her work behind the scenes shapes every client experience at the firm, from the intake call to the final disbursement.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Outside the office, MaKinzie enjoys woodworking projects in her shop, reading, and she stays curious through podcasts like The Diary of a CEO and Modern Wisdom. That same drive to learn and improve carries into her work, where she is always looking for practical ways to make the firm stronger and more efficient.
