Valentina Rueda

Case Manager | Garnett Patterson Injury Lawyers

Native of Medellín, Colombia

Valentina Rueda is passionate about truly listening to her clients and understanding what they are going through, meeting every case with empathy and genuine care. As a case manager, Val is the person clients turn to throughout their entire case. She welcomes them in, listens closely to their concerns, follows their medical treatment, and keeps them updated every step of the way so they always understand what is happening and why.

Her goal is simple: to make an incredibly difficult time in a client’s life easier, and to make sure they never feel like a case number, but like someone who is truly being taken care of.

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND

Val is from Medellín, Colombia, where she earned her Bachelor of Law from Universidad EAFIT in 2022. While at EAFIT she served as a researcher with the Criminal Law Research Group and as a facilitator with the university’s General Secretariat, and she was recognized as an Outstanding Delegate at a Model UN conference. She is a native Spanish speaker and is currently learning French.

HER PROMISE TO FIRST-TIME CLIENTS

“I can’t promise you an outcome or a timeline. But I can promise you this: you will be heard, you will be supported, and you will never have to face this alone. I’m not just here for your case. I’m here for you.”

GIVING BACK

Since 2016, Val has been a partner of Techo, a Colombian organization that builds homes and gathers resources for families in need. She is also passionate about animals and helps stray animals find homes whenever she can, and she gives English lessons to those who could use the support.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Family is everything to Val, who shares a close bond with her siblings and extended family, and she is the proud guardian of three cats. Outside of work she loves to travel, read, explore art and museums, cook, and watch movies. And one thing people are surprised to learn: she is a certified bartender, and mixology is one of her unexpected passions outside the legal world.
